No. 3 Series is a typeface for a variety of large scale applications including titling, visual identities, books, magazines, mobile patterns and websites. It has the characteristics of humanist letters, borrows from periods before and long after the Renaissance – e. g. the increased contrast – and is drawn into a contemporary context.

No. 3 Series covers three widths in large steps, Normal, Narrow and Poster. Furthermore it is to a large extend influenced by writing and cursive writing, which inspired the first letters that were cut in metal. For example the principle behind the shapes of the a, d, p and q of the lowercase alphabet is the rotation of an italic letter written with a broad nib pen. Italic handwriting usually has a slope which in this case is reduced to zero, but the underlying theoretical strokes are preserved.

Stone Masher is a bold hand drawn brush script which is purposely made for headline, display or logotype, and signature which need a standout appearing. This font is also suitable to be applied especially in logo, and the other various formal forms such as invitations, labels, logos, magazines, books, greeting / wedding cards, packaging, fashion, make up, stationery, novels, labels or any type of advertising purpose.

Like the poetry movement of the early 20th century, from which the font takes its name, Imagist relies on the power of concrete images and brings an organic vibration to the words it forms. Imagist is a lively and decorative serif typeface with prominent features that appear especially in the letters K, R, M, N, W, V, k, w, v and y. Powerful ball terminals also bring recognizable attraction.
Imagist contains six weights and corresponding Italics. Italics have a cursive-style letter s for as Stylistic Alternate. Old Style Numerals and Small Caps can be found in all cuts.

BigStripesMono is another typeface family from IngrimayneType that explores the possibilities of alternating letters sets. The family is monospaced with four fonts: a base or solid style, an outlined style, and two styles in which each character is cut diagonally and the halves are separated to form two characters. These split styles are not designed to be used alone but layered with the base style, outlined style, or both to form colorful lettering with an unusual striped appearance. The stripe is not apparent in single letters but only in words or lines of text. For best results use an application that supports the OpenType feature Contextual Alternatives (calt) to alternate the letters of the split styles.
The four styles can be combined in several ways to create unusual lettering appropriate for titles, headlines, and similar uses. And if one wants a bold, monospaced, sans-serif face, BigStripesMono has that too.

One of the best desserts I have eaten in my life was a treacle tart. I do know that it was in England and I do know that it was delicious. I really don’t know why I was thinking of that, but that pleasant memory did give me a name for this font.

I am still learning my new font software, which is a bit of a slow process. The software I used for this font allows me to add several languages, which, hitherto, I couldn’t access.

So, in short, this is my most multilingual font ever: it even includes Vietnamese and a bit of Hiragana and Katakana for you to get creative with!
