Yuge, apparently, is how New Yorkers pronounce huge. I have never been to New York, so I can’t tell if this is a fact. But I often hear a certain New Yorker pronounce it that way, so I guess it’s sort of true.

Yuge is a handwritten font - made with a Sharpie pen. Believe me, it is a good font. It is fantastic. It is the best font ever. It is YUGE! ;-)

I was listening to the radio and a song caught my attention. It was ‘Demagogue’ by a band called the Urban Dance Squad. That song brought back memories from when I was a student, so I decided to name this font after it.

Demagogue was made using a Sharpie pen and a piece of expensive paper. The result is a very legible, very neat and very bold font. Demagogue is ideal for when you want to get your message across, but hopefully not in a demagogue-ish way! ;-)

Salve or let’s better say Hi to Allrounder Monument, the inscriptional typeface and the second member of the multi-purpose Allrounder Super Family.

Allrounder Monument was inspired by ancient inscriptions on columns, monuments and buildings in Rome. These letters – being as old as two millennia – radiate their own classic charm and give this ancient touch to every design today – just as Allrounder Monument.

Last year I spent some time exploring the city of Bath in England. Its claim to fame are the Roman Baths in the city center, which are well worth a visit.
Kingsmead is an electoral ward within Bath and I thought it was an apt name for this rather stylish - if old fashioned - font.

Kingsmead Script is a handmade font. It comes with diacritics and some discretionary ligatures for double lower case letter combinations.

Mondo is essentially a contemporary typeface with vintage clothing, the incise terminals and the humanist ductus brings some of the classical dignity of the lettering tradition to an essentially modern typeface.

On the middle weights Mondo is a sans with slightly condensed proportions, build with modular regularity and special care for low tension on the curves, which offers a very even texture and a sense of quietness and balance to long text settings. On the extreme weights the eye is attracted by the accentuated terminals, the vertical rhythm, the ink traps, alternates, ligatures and the plenty of other details included, thats why Mondo is an excellent choice for headlines and display use when a contemporary typeface with a deep sense of dignity is needed.
